Would like to say a big thank you to Jade at Interior Stories Designs for transforming our spare room into a tranquil space for our baby.
Jade really took the time to find out my likes and dislikes and the kind of environment I wanted the room to have. She also asked to see photos of the rest of the house so her design would tie in nicely and to also understand my taste and personality.
I told Jade I was happy to try something new as I always seem to go for the same colour pallets plus I’ve seen photos of her beautiful home so I knew Jade would come up with something stunning.
When Jade sent me her ideas for the nursery, I was over the moon. I immediately fell in love with the patterns, textures and colours. I have always shied away from having colour on the walls ( all our rooms are off white) and we have never used wallpaper but I can honestly say it really makes a difference to a room and something we will definitely think about using in other rooms. Thanks to Jade, she has opened up my eyes and has made me realise that colour isn’t so scary at all.
Jade also compiled a list of everything I needed and links to where I can buy the items from, so everything was really easy. If I had any questions or if something was out of stock then Jade was always quick to respond and offer other alternatives.
I would highly recommend Interior Stories Designs and will definitely be going back to Jade for any design advice in the future.
Jade was brilliant at analysing our style and creating a design that truly reflected it. Jade understood what we wanted more than we did and pushed us out of our comfort zones where we really needed her to! We are delighted with our new family room and everyone comments on how amazing it is when they walk in.

Having moved into a house two years ago that was a newly renovated, complete blank canvas (think white walls everywhere and zero character), I was getting seriously stuck for both inspiration and motivation to finish the entrance and bedrooms of our property. I would consider us a "typical" household, so would never had thought that an interior designer would be accessible to us, but Jade was recommended to me by a friend and I am so thankful that she was.
By completing a quick yet thought-provoking questionnaire and sending a few photos of likes/where we had already decorated, Jade was able to put together really great concepts for us that we instantly fell in love with. All designs were the perfect combination of being ideally suited to our tastes, whilst including gems of stylistic flare that we would never have thought to include ourselves. Our painted staircase is now one of my favourite areas in the house - an idea that I would have initially thought out of our comfort zone, but Jade's expertise is such that she can turn the visions that you may have thought were just for design magazines or Instagram into a tangible reality around your home.
Professional yet personable, Jade genuinely welcomed any questions, thoughts and feedback to ensure we were totally happy throughout the whole process. I particularly liked Jade's "shopping lists" where once you agreed on a design and budget, you were provided with a list of online links where you can purchase all the products needed to complete the room, which means you can do all your buying in minutes.
Overall, I cannot recommend Interior Stories enough and thank Jade for her hard work, diligence and our lovely new spaces!
